Master Files 1.1
Hey guys new master files are on the server.
Things that are not yet done:
1. Need to tweak the lights eminating from each lamp and make sure that they are all behaving properly, ran into a bit of a complication with the occlusion pass.
2. I have not inserted the new pictures into the frames on the wall. (sorry!)
Things that are new:
Several rigs! no new source images, dont worry about replacing those. just copy paste/replace all of the new .ma files into your scenes folders.
The camera to use is RealCamera. Its great, gives you a wider angle of the hut and a full 720p render.
The rigs are awesome! things are moving! Look for a new updated master file with better lamp lights (they work alright, but definitely buggy)

Interior Lighting
Added windows and colder exterior lights coming in. I think its just about as done as its gonna get, lighting wise. I'll clean up this maya file and package it up. Also start posing a couple shots that are ready to be animated!

Portraits+How to manual+rigged book
Hello guys!
So there are now a couple of portrait images in my folder, a rigged how-to manual and a rigged (though not by me) book in my folder.
We are good to use the rigged book in the final animation, as long as we credit the person who made it in the credits, and I have all that info. If you don't like how the book works, I also have a rig that I am currently working on, but this is if the book is really urgent, for us to play with. I was having some issues flipping the pages, but I'm still working on it.
Cool? Cool!

Finished Animatic for Book Scene
Hi dudes, I finished up this segment. The timing's not finely tuned, but it should be good enough for reference.
I'm wondering if the toy should be a ball rather than a thing with a face, because I'm concerned people won't realize it's not sentient like the lamps. What do you guys think?
We're getting so close to being ready to animate! Yayyy!

entryway revamped
Hi all,
Entry area currently looks kind of like this. I will be adding more books, and I'll rig and model 2 books that will be opened upon fall to this area. Let me know if there are any other objects or lil additions I can make to this. This scene and its textures are available in my folder, under 'scenes' and 'textures' folders respectively.
Thanks!

Short Animatic
So I finally got into a groove working on the storyboard. It's short so far, but hopefully more soon.
Next shots:
tilt back up shelf to tiffany closeup
she scoots back to prepare for her jump
leaps forward, flinging herself against the books
the books fall down with a clatter (maybe just cut to landing rather than tilt again)
squeaky toy lands with a squeak
toy rolls
octo, long neck, and spider watch it roll
toy rolls to eric's feet
other lamps look to see if eric's turn on
eric shakes his head no
they look down like "aww man"
Then it's time for the BALLOONS.
Bunny Quilt
I'm trying out different textures on the blanket right now. Thoughts on this bunny quilt?
Here's it with a subtle bump map:
Lighting Update 1.1
why won't little Eric light turn on? maybe its because he doesnt have a cord to plug himself in... yet! or maybe its this whole clap thing

Lighting&Texture Updates:
plus more room lighting and an ambient occlusion pass. a bit bright to show detail, but we will tone that back when we have more lamps lighting up the shots.

Bed V1
Not quite finished but this is the basics. I made the blanket a burlap sack type texture but that can be changed easily if nobody likes it. I'm going to add some things under the bed and maybe put a side table or something. Also, the wall it is attached to is just a reference. It's not physically attached to the wall. Thoughts?
useable rigged long-neck lamp
Hi all,
I finished the lamp and successfully hooked up a switch to turn the light on and off. I used set driven key, and turned on "Show Shapes" so I could get to the Intensity. To use it, click on the on/off switch next to the lamp and in the On Off attribute in the Channel Box, type in a 1or type "On" to turn it on or a 0 (or "Off) to turn it off. There are two controls - the move and the rotate that you select in the scene. I hid the light icons with the Show menu, but it still works even if hidden. It's called RiggedLongNeck_useable.mb and is in the rigged folder.

Quick sketch of entrance area
Hi guys,
Here is a quick sketch of the area I'm working on. Let me know if there is anything else I should model/add to this entrance area. I'm thinking a trunk, with slippers in front of it, a welcome mat, a wardrobe and maybe a coat hanger. And all will have soft edges.
Let me know what you think!

Bed & Hammock Ideas
Hi guys. Here are some concepts for the bed area. Lamp pattern all the things! :)
Don't forget that we have a part in the storyboard that involves books falling off of two places. Technically it could be any two objects, as long as we work that in somewhere. I thought end tables by the bed might be a good spot. Or we might want a bureau on the empty back wall.
